Hi, my name is Debbie & I started this blog because animals are my passion & I wanted to share it with others. I have been an animal lover all my life, as a kid I would read so many books on animals. I made friends with most dogs & some cats in my area, I was told later even some that were supposedly not friendly. I would find strays & lost dogs & enjoyed helping them get back to their homes. I grew up with cats, a dog, hamsters, several chameleons & a pet raccoon. As an adult I had a cat for 18 1/2 yrs, many birds, ferrets, goldfish & 5 dogs, of my own. I also fostered pets for 20+ years including dogs, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, Chinchillas, hedge hogs, & a hamster. You can read more about my pet experience in my first blog post which is about my experience with pets. I will be sharing about many of the pets I have experience with. I hope to cover a variety of topics about pet care.
